True Greatness

What is the kingdom of God?

The kingdom of God carries the idea of God coming into the world to assert his power, glory, dominion, and reign over the kingdom/ domain of the devil.  It’s more than church or salvation.  It is God expressing Himself powerfully in all His works.  It is when God begins His spiritual rule in the hearts and lives of His people.

John 14:23- Those who love Jesus truly will experience the divine presence of God in their lives.  Romans 14:17- Unless your full of God’s word and the Holy Spirit, you can’t experience the kingdom of God.  It’s found in the Holy Spirit. It’s a matter of the inward spirit and heart it’s seen in the life of the person who truly expresses his or her love for Christ in sincere humility in a desire to serve both God and his fellow men (Philippians 2:3) As a result; true greatness thus comes as a result of the following:

I.                   It’s not about position, power , money , wealth, degrees or what we do to god but what we are in spirit before Him ( Mathew 18:3-4)

II.                Be great in the right areas thus we should learn to be great in faith, humility, character, wisdom patience,( Galatians 5: 22-23)

III.             We should desire to have the greatness of Christ  who loved righteousness and heated sin( Hebrews 1:9)

IV.             True greatness is a matter of heartfelt love for God and being committed to His word ( Romans 12:1-2)

V.                True greatness will be achieved when we identify our position and therein serve God in humility and simplicity ( Romans 12:3-8)
